Parson is a lifelong Massachusetts-based skateboarder and cartoonist. He is best known for his work on multipleĀ Tank GirlĀ titles, as well as work for DC/Vertigo, Boom!, 2000 AD, Albatross Funny Books, and more. Most recently Parson has received critical acclaim for his work on Image Comicsā smash hit ā80s skate comic,Ā Grommets, co-created with writers Rick Remender and Brian Posehn.
āWhen I was growing up, drawing comics and skateboarding were the things I cared about most; the two have always gone hand in hand. And in this weird, lonely, online world weāre living in now, skate shops and comic shops are more important than ever.
